Senior System Administrator.

Belgrade / Full time

About you.

You are a System Administrator who is ready to join our growing team. You will be responsible for planning, delivery and maintenance of Linux and Windows IT infrastructure installation, maintenance (OS, services, applications), server and platforms installation and configuration (such as Apache, Tomcat, PHP, MySQL, MSSQL, IIS etc…), as well as for technical solutions of all Wireless Media projects, quality of service and continuous improvement and optimization of Wireless Media products and services.

You will be working with Project Managers on delivering solutions on time and to defined quality and customer expectations.

You will also provide 1st line support for Wireless Media products (web portals Mondo, N1 …), services (WM Origami) and customers (Telekom Serbia, SBB, m: tel Montenegro, m: tel Bosnia and Herzegovina, etc.).

Required experience.

  • Relevant working experience (6+ years)
  • Experience with Nginx, MySQL, Redis, Elastic Search, Windows Server, MSSQL, IIS, Windows Domain, VM Ware
  • Experience with working in formal Service Desk environment and with SLAs
  • Experience in maintain network and system security (Cisco, Netgear)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with Cloud Solutions (Microsoft Azure, AWS) is a plus

Key competences.

  • Solid experience with implementation of complex application platforms in multi-OS environments
  • Understanding of virtualization concepts on VM Ware
  • Advanced understanding of web & security standards and best practices

Responsibilities.

  • Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
  • Maintain system efficiency
  • Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by clients
  • Make recommendations for future upgrades
  • Maintain network and system security
  • Analyze and isolate issues
  • Evaluate and modify system's performance
  • Identify client needs
  • Administer servers, routers, switches, firewalls, software deployment, security updates and patches
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
